Pool Rules
1.All guests mist sign
in when they enter the facility.
2. Pets are not allowed
inside the facility.
3. Running is not
allowed inside the facility.
4. Dunking, pushing,
shoving, and any other form of horseplay is not allowed.
5. Foul or abusive
languages / gestures will not be tolerated.
6. Fighting is not
allowed inside the facility.
7. Swimwear with metal
rivets, buttons, or fasteners is not allowed.
8. Street clothes and
cut off shorts are not allowed in the swimming pool.
9. Guests must wear
swimwear that is appropriate for a family facility.
10. Guests are not
allowed to use masks, fins, or snorkels while in the pool.
Goggles are acceptable.
11. Guests must shower
prior to entering the water.
12. Non-swimmers are
encouraged to wear US Coast Guard approved Type III
lifejackets while inside the pool gates.
13. Ten-minute safety
breaks will be conducted at the end of every hour.
14. All guests are
subject to a swim test.
15. Diving, flips,
somersaults, and cannonballs are not allowed from the
sides of the pool.
16. Guests are not
allowed to fake a drowning or injury.
17. Children in diapers
must wear rubber swim pants.
18. Children 12 years
old and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult
over the age of 18.
19. Glass containers are
not allowed inside the gates of the swimming pool
facility.
20. Alcohol is not
allowed inside the gates of the facility.
21. Smoking is not
allowed inside the gates of the facility.
22. Picnic tables and
dining tables are reserved to eating only.
23. One Long Whistle
Blast means to clear the pool immediately.
24. Lifeguards are the
ultimate authority in regards to rule enforcement.
SWIM TEST
Aqua-Rec Management
reserves the right to conduct a swim test of any guest
that exhibits an inadequate swimming ability. To
successfully pass a swim test, a guest must swim one lap
(equaling two lengths of the longest distance of the pool)
without stopping or touching the bottom of the pool. If a
guest does not pass the swim test, they will be restricted
to the shallow water areas.
SAFETY BREAKS
Safety breaks will be
conducted at the bottom of every hour and will last for
ten minutes. During a safety break, all guests under the
age of 18 will be asked to exit the pool. Only those
guests over the age of 18 will be allowed to stay in the
pool. Parents or guardians over the age of 18 may escort
small children into the pool with them at this time. If
guests over the age of 18 choose to remain in the pool, a
lifeguard must be in the stand.
LAP SWIMMING AREAS
Lap swimming lanes will
only take up a small section of the swimming pool and are
separated from the rest of the pool by a lane rope. They
are not to be used for recreational swimming. They are
reserved for those guests who use swimming laps as a form
of exercise. Lifeguards will need to keep the lap swimming
areas clear. Lifeguards may remove the lane ropes when
there are no guests swimming laps. They will need to be
reinstalled when a guest arrives that would like to swim
laps.
DIVING BOARD RULES
1. Only one guest
allowed on the diving board at a time.
2. Next guest in line
must wait at the bottom of the stairs.
3. Guests may not run on
the diving board.
4. Guests are allowed to
bounce one time on the diving board.
5. Flips, somersaults,
cut-aways, or gainers are not allowed.
6. Guests must exit
directly in front of the diving board.
7. Next guest is not
allowed on the board until the prior guest has exited the
pool.
8. Guests wearing
personal flotation devices and weak swimmers are not
allowed on the diving board.
9. No pushing, pulling,
shoving, or other horseplay allowed on or near the diving
board.
10. Guests with heart
conditions, back problems, and expecting mothers should
not participate on a diving board.
11. No swimming in the
diving area.
12. Guests must exit the
diving area immediately upon entering the water and
returning to the surface.
CHILDREN’S POOL RULES
1. No one over 42” tall
allowed in the pool unless accompanied by a child under
42” in height.
2. Pushing, pulling,
shoving, and horseplay are not allowed.
3. Flotation devices are
allowed.
4. Parents and children
are allowed to participate together.
5. Children in diapers
are required to wear rubber swim pants.
